From 12th September, 2017 on wards the first leAD cohort took place in Berlin. 15 startups from around the world were chosen to receive 12 weeks of training in business, leadership and pitching skills.

Klaus, Horst and Stefan Bente are the oldest grandchildren of Adi Dassler. Together, they founded leAD Sports Accelerator to revive their grandfather’s legacy. Comcast’s startup accelerator The Farm in Atlanta has inked a 3-year partnership with the leAD Sports Accelerator. The grandson of Adi Dassler, Horst Bente was at their Demo Day this Sunday. The new partnership helps double the network for both the Accelerators besides the availability of infrastructure across Berlin and Atlanta for each of the startup cohorts to benefit from.
